Default Carpet tape

Hi trev
Try high tack masking tape I’ve seen a few clubs use this as it’s much cheaper I expect than duck tape just have a mooch around B&Q to see what they have

Trev I will ask at chesterfield on Saturday night and tell mark Hulme so he can pass it on when he see,s you Sunday, it does come up now and again but the people who put it down do the usual foot slide over it as it’s being laid to try and make sure it’s down as best as possible

We've tried a few options and while a good duct tape holds carpet together it leaves residue on the surface below. We moved onto masking tape and it's better.
We use 75mm from Screwfix and it's good grippy and doesn't lift even with LMP's cornering hard on it were duct tape did lift.
A lot use the 3M blue masking tape 50mm

Good quality automotive tape works really well, easy to use and good grip - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/48mm-2-IN...YAAOSwSKlZbTPT
