Default spring id colours

what do you all use to mark/identify the springs in colours?

coloured heatshrink. as comes standard on AE big bore springs. i picked up a big pack of multi coloured heatshrink and have done my other make springs as well.

+1 on heat shrink, tried all sorts of paint & varnish but nothing stays on for long.

I also keep my springs in separate compartments in a box so I can see what is missing etc.
