Default Differences in wishbones

Hi everyone. This may seem like a daft question, but as a 90's racer I am a bit behind the times! I see cars are offered with either straight wishbones or gullwing spec, how does it affect the car?

straight wishbones give a slightly lower centre of gravity

gullwing look better

And gull wing make it safer in the bumps and high grip!
