they used the B4 Front, but they had a way more Durangoish looking front.
Does anyone know why ??

Pretty boring vid if I could say so myself but it is nice they show us they are working on it. More than you can say about other companies

Wondering if they skip the mid/rear motor alternative now and go rear mounted only, now when Hupo has entered the building?

I was pretty sure the owner can change b/n mid mount or rear mount.

It's a prototype, that's why you see the mixture of parts. They probably feel the front end is a tried and true design that is already in use on most 2wd's today and needs very little redesign. TD might be focusing on the chassis and mid/rear configuration before finalizing the front end and overall kit. At least, that's my thinking. I've built a few custom 2wd mid motor oval cars in the same manor, with good results.
