Default mardave

at present its open
a couple of the lads use standard mardave kit with silver can and 4.8v nimh
1 lad uses 13.5t brushless and 3.7v lipo
but we are willing to set up any class with everyone running the same or even 1 heat for standard and 1 for modified
my email is oldroyd.colin@sky.com if you want more info
unfortunately i have just found out we are off for 2 weeks so no racing until 8th may
but you are welcome to drop in then either to race or have a look at our facilities i can also send you a few photos of the track if you want

i have been emailing someone at your club lol about mardaves, as me and wife were interested but wasnt sure, i think 1 heat of standard and 1 heat of brushless would be better as the bl cars simply fly lol. a good place to recruit people for mardave/advertise your club would be carpetoval.com dont take the name for just being oval, they are all mardave users

Default Mardave racers

We cater for all types of cars hence a circuit is always used we keep each circuit for 4 weeks then change it giving drivers a good chance to improve their times before getting bored with the same old track
Seems to work well for all racing types

Open this Sunday give it a go what have you got to lose

manic, me and wife was looking at opening up an oval mardave club to run on the odd week of barley mow, but no one ever answered, so we just left it alone, if the interest is going to be there then it is certainly something i am willing to do
