Scratch me off the list, going 1/8 electric, the only 1/10 offroad racing in my area if on the one day I can't change my schedule to get off.

Sorry for the quality of the pictures but you can get the jist. The top and bottom lips are going to be reduced slightly so it doesn't hit the bulkhead and to reduce the amount of material to be taken of the bumper but that's the only changers that will be made. They will be made up sometime this week at the latest tuesday the 19TH.

I've left the rear nuts off the hinge pin which can bind up the suspension as standard.
It also makes it easier to remove the suspension if needed by just unscrewing the hinge pin.

Thanks for looking.

Regards steve brew

Looks well made, but can't see wat you are gaining other than stopping ripping the screws out, screws are still going to bend, and the rear wishbone hangers I would say are more prone now as you have more leverage from both sides not just one!

Hello paul thanks for the compliment
From experience it's mainly been the front 10* block and screws that have bent and crushed, making the front spread out and causing the rear blocks and screws to do the same because of the leverage. This brace will stop that

not had any problems with the front blocks, plenty of screws though!

If you can design something that stops the rear blocks from snapping, ill have one! lol

Hi Paul,
The rear front-wishbone blocks break because of the sliding motion of the wishbone going back on an impact, so if you have the nut on there loose and the front block is tightened and screw not bent, it should stop this - although many of us, me included, don't run the nut as it does tend to tighten and bind the wishbone up.

So perhaps threadlock the nut on loosely.

Ive snapped 2 of these, both times in big crashes - hitting stationary car on the straight at full speed. But both times ive also broken a wishbone, severely bent the screw and crippled the front block too, also the pin bent. So unavoidable/expected damage.

With the front block tight, this new brace on, and nut loosely on the back the rear block should be as safe as it can be I reckon.

Come on Steve, send me my braces, im dieing to run these....
