Default ESC missing a setting

OK, 1/10 purists look away now.

I have just bought a Hobbywing Quikrun (or however they like to spell it) 150amp speedo, suitable for 1/8th, and up to 6s, new, from a UK store.

Alas, upon following the instructions on setting the lo-v cut off, it tells me the voltage I'm after is at 6 flashes of the red light. Unfortunately, it only goes to 4 flashes before starting again.

So, could the instructions be out of wack with the firmware or that particular version of the esc?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I've followed them several times to no avail. I simply want to set the cut off at maximum, just to be safe, because cells are new and an unknown brand.

Many thanks

No, I'm using the set button and the flashing/beeping method. I tried connecting my old set up box, but it wasn't having any of it.

Try the hobbywing general led program card. I had to use one on my 120a quicrun for a 1/10 car.
