Euro's '09 Flights
This might be of use to UK racers heading out to this years Euros.
I've just book our flights with RyanAir, Stansted to Santander (about 45min from Bilbao). Return flights start from £45 depending on your luggage options. Not sure how long the offer will last, as you're basically paying £0.01 for the flight and the rest is standard taxes. Enjoy!!!

If you are going to fly Ryanair, they are talking about doing this:

There is also a direct flight to Bilbao with Easyjet from Stansted. From Gatwich and Bristol, Easyjet also flight to Biarritz that is at about 1 hour and half from Bilbao. Santander is at a little bit more than 1 hour.
To Biarritz also fly ryanair but from Dublin, Birmingham, Stansted and Luton. There is another option direct to Bilbao but much more expensive, with Iberia/British airways from Eathrow. Hope this helps. Regards.
