Default D4 shock and spring options

Does everybody run the Hot Bodies shocks on their D4? If not what ones do you use?

Also, what other makes of springs can be used with Hot Bodies shocks?

There is spring info/charts in this thread: http://www.oople.com/forums/showthre...t=spring+chart

we have losi shocks & losi springs on our D4, you can see others have run them, Truman etc, hope this is helpful.

(if you get to the charts on the petit page, the shock oil chart will be helpful, many of the D4 setup pages use the cts number, ie 350 would be losi 30wt)

i ran kit shocks on mine, they were perfectly fine. HB springs were way too soft though. I ran Losi green on the front and red on the rear (or pink rear if the track was rutted/bumpy)
35wt in the front, 30wt rear. can't remember the pistons off the top of my head.

HI.

I use Losi springs directly with Hotbodies dampers and they work fine.

Try giving DMS Racing a call, as they hold probably the widest range of Losi spares.
