me! and with reference your earlier convo with Cris, i race the exotek against the shark at caldi and worm.

now, the comical amongst you (thats you mr harding) will note that i run towards the back even with the shark, but i turn up, prcatice, have a laugh and work on doing well in the 1/18th class this year. if along the way i embarras some of the bigger cars, then surely that is motivation not a hinderence.

I see what you are saying though mark, but not every one who goes to clubs will want to be competitive straight away.

I raced at wycombe for a couple of years with my rc18 then the lrp sharks and ftx blazes came along so i upgraded to the blaze what i found is the car was faster but it didnt have the same fun factor as the smaller rc18 it was like driving a crap 10th scale rather than a great micro ... dont know if it is just me that thought like this but the shark & blaze killed it for me as car was like the control tyre of the micro scene

now with the brca rules changed for the 1/18th class and all the 18th divers owning the 1/16th blaze because they needed to buy it to be competitive i dont see a way back for the 1/18th class even with the new rc18 b2

i would love to see a revival of the micro classes but the rules must be firm from now on so manufacturers can all build cars that are of equal performance as veriety is what will restore the scene

thats the point of the new rules, firm guidelines on class size.

Don't diss touring cars. You have to be so precise now to drive them, and it's a very different type of driving to off-road, but if you're good at one, you can be good at the other, as long as you remember to drive differently (unlike me).

That might explain the lack of humour then.

You put "Stud Macdonald" in your original reply. StudMac has such a better ring to it lol (the name....not the man!)

I didnt think that "HasASmallWillyMac" had the same flow off the tongue Stu.

Just go with Nobby's original and we'll keep your secret between you, I and the other 150 people reading this thread

My apologies - I don't have time to make you laugh as I'm too busy kissing StudCris's arse...

Just as long as you don't make me the butt of your jokes, but seeing as your busy with that, I'll bring you some baby wipes at the next national so you can make sure Cris's arse has that nice clean look and feel
