Default Losi XXX identification?

I have several Losi XXXs, majority with Graphite chassis and components, a couple with ERA. At least two of them are supposedly Kinwald editions - BK1 and BK2 I believe - but is there a surefire way to tell?
And out of interest, what does this one pictured appear to be?

That’s a BK2... had a different gearbox (grey plastic)

I believe it was smaller internally than the original xxx, most of the team drivers in the UK didn’t like it though and went back to the other gearbox

That’s a bk2 you can tell as the gearbox is grey, and it has front and rear, rear wishbone hangers which are very narrow. All of the other XXX models (XXX, XXX Kinwald and XXX CR2) have a black coloured gearbox and have a wide plastic wishbone hanger.

Thanks guys - what a pleasure to have access to people who know their stuff. What was the deal re threaded shock absorbers? Kinwald only, or generally available as an upgrade?
I'll upload pics of another two for positive ID

Threaded shocks came as standard from the BK2 onwards.

Only if you bought a Kinwald edition though I think? They did a ‘dirt spec’ car too, came with blue tyres and blue alloy none threaded shocks

I'm not sure if we got the 'Dirt Spec' car as a kit here in the UK?

This is a pretty good run down of all the Team Losi cars, including the XXX buggies. https://www.liverc.com/news/special_...g_2WD_buggies/

I've got an original XXX with the original clamp style shock collars, & did own a mid motored Losi CR2 with the Atomic Carbon conversion - the donor would have been a XXX CR - which was the last of the XXX 2wd buggies - it had the EA3 plastic parts.
