Default Foam / Rubber grip for transmitter wheel

I have an Absima CR3P as well as my sons Absima CR2S transmitter both of which have a foam grip on the wheel. Both of them have suffered perishing of the foam so I need to replace, but I don't seem to be able to find spares.
Does anyone know what I ought to be googling or where to get the parts?
The foam is 45mm inner diameter if that helps?

Thanks in advance.

I sent them an email a few months back, but never heard back, although with other things on my mind at moment, I haven't chased it.
In actual fact, I had hoped to find an alternative to the Absima foam as it does seem to have perished quite quickly, while the Sanwa foam on my mt4 feels much nicer. I just wondered if there was any after market stuff, but not immediately found any.
See you soon Alan

This might sound really daft, but I have no idea what these are. I have tried googling them and find links to 1:8 as well as 1:12 scale and lots of different types.
Can you possibly post a link to what you have used and I will look into this. Thanks
