Default B44 SCREW SET

Has anybody upgraded the screw set on their B44 yet, to ti or stainless.
If you have, which kit did you get and would you recommend it?
Also, where did you get it (in the uk preferably)?
Many thanks

Default B44 Screw sets

Hi there,

I now that Nortech are working on a 'Bling' kit for the B44 as we speak....

Details are a bit scetchy at the moment but the kit will include Blue alloy light weight cap head screws for the non-stressed areas, this will save those Grams.... Also in the kit will be alloy cone style washers, these help distribute the force/load evenly across the mounting area... And they're in the cool 'Bling Blue' also.....

Keep your eyes open for this kit and many more @ http://www.nortechracing.co.uk/

Later JIm

Thanks for the plug Jim!

Jim is actually helping me develop this kit, and as one of the best mechanics/engineers (working on rally cars for a living - cool job) I know then I just know that whatever he says will be correct!

I will have a kit together very soon for Jim to test on his B44.

To be honest, I dislike stainless, as it is actually softer than hi tensile steel, and not great for many places on out cars. The hex heads strip out much easier than hi tensile steel fasteners.

However if people do want a stainless screw kit, I could put one together.

Just let me know what you guys want.

Cheers,

G
