Hi Ian, a pizza break is possible we just need a volunteer to take the orders and ring it through. But we all need to remember that the endurance race clock will not stop. Each team must manage their own breaks.

Hi Craig, prepare yourself for a battery change. You should have an idea how long your battery might last, there are several variables, motor, timing, speed control settings, 2wd / 4wd, driving style etc. 30 minutes will be a first for many of us. Nori

Hi Craig.. If it helps, I use somewhere between 650-900 Ma per heat with my driving miss daisy style... The variance depends on the track set up I have noticed... This is with my B4 2wd running a 13.5 BL motor at @8.75:1 ratio... My cells are 5000/30C... I'm thinking I should be good for 30 mins no worries, but I'll be sticking a lipo alarm on just to be on the safe side in case the speedo limit is not working right well...!

I normally do 2 5 min races then charge. I'll charge a pack n take it to the park if the weather improves n do a long run n see wot it takes out of the battery.

Fingers crossed for some sun

My dad is whinging about wanting to race, but he does not want to do a endurance race at culli, plus I'm not that bothered. Think I'm off to the last round at Chadderton next Sunday.

I was at batley today n it's a big area as we know.. In my 2wd B4 13.5 BL set up I measured a max mA input of 1015 to balance charge a demon products 5000/25C after a heat n a couple of practice laps before the heat... So be impressed Danny my son! Mind you I did a min mA input of 475 but I crashed out after 7 laps in that particular heat on a full balance charge on the same cell... My average lap time was around the 29s mark... I did a miserly 11 laps in 5m 28s but then again I ain't no b@lls out racer... I'm thinking my 5300 will suffice...

An endurance race is all about keeping the car on the track, getting the laps in... I suggest if you can a 17.5 / 13.5 and drive steady 30 mins should be easily achievable with modern batteries.

Default Team Listing / Reserve list

Team listing now at the top of this thread.

I have also started a reserve list as New drivers are showing an interest.
But I need to keep the teams as evenly balanced as possible, so another 5 drivers could be included.
