Default Tom Cockerill dominates Belgium GP 2010 - Report online

Thanks to Tony Evdoka who made the trip over to Belgium with his camera and note pad, we've got a report on the popular Belgium GP for 2010.

Schumachers Tom Cockerill dominated the event - TQ'ing and winning the 2WD with his Cougar SV and winning the 4WD after Lee Martin had taken TQ with his Tamiya TRF511.
Tom is on a roll at the moment - winning two BRCA nationals and leading the series as well as taking the inaugural oOple Invernational.

Thanks to Tony Evdoka for doing the report! Check out Tonys ace website, www.rudebits.co.uk

The link to Tony's website is giving me Malware warnings, does anyone else get these or just me?

The website at www.rudebits.co.uk contains elements from the site sensationworld.ru, which appears to host malware

He he he - That's the first of that I have heard but the website you mention sounds interesting - I will check that out.
Seriously there are nothing like that on or attached to our website.
It sounds like your restrictions or safe guard is set on it's max

Also it maybe because it's 'chrome' and not 'brass' - get it?!

I get the warning with Firefox, so it is not just a Google Chrome issue.

It has been got at and files placed on the route directories.
You need to talk to the man that does your site and he will see the files in there that don't belong.
Then you need to tal to your hosting people about te security of your site.
Hassle, I know as I just went through it all but has to be done
HOPE THIS HELPS

I found that Tonys index.htm was OK, but there was a index.php and index.html put in there also which were full of badness.

If you're on a shared server it can be hard to lock down - especially if your hosts don't do their part properly. If you've any outdated of unused scripts / software on your website (I mean like forums or message posting things etc) then make sure it's updated to the latest version as that's another possible
way into your site.

Also if you're using Total Commander as FTP client - DON'T store passwords - they aren't stored encrypted on disk and there are certain viruses that simply collects these files and send them to attackers. This happened to us once and it took me a while until I removed all iframes with links to malware sites.

after wiping my website and having to start again i found the 'root' of my problems..

if you go to the htaccess in your roots root... in there are all the badness... you remove all the spam links and then make your htaccess read only..

Glad you managed to sort it. Always a good idea to keep a clean working copy of your site ready to go if/when it gets hacked so you can just replace the badness quickly and easily.

Btw, added the rasey comic to the end of the report now - check the link at the top of the thread peoples.
