Default New offroad track ?

Questions.

If there were to be a new outdoor track for electric 1/10th buggy / SCT in your area what would you want to see incorporated in to the track ?

What sort of surface would you want to race on ?

What sort of track size you would want to see ? For example a 28 Meters long by 20 Meters wide. . . .

What other facility's would you want to see at the track ?

What sort of distance do you drive to your 'local' track to race on a Sunday.

Just trying to gauge interest for a future project so if you could leave comments that would be great no matter if good or bad.

As you said "outdoor" the above comment does not apply.!
I would say astro turf every time ....dirt tracks need too much maintenance IMO
Size would need to be something like 30 x20 metres.
Jumps , table top, sleeping policemen, banked curve...gradients, if possible.
25 miles each way ..
Most important is parking, electricity, toilets....on site food /drinks would be good.
Good luck..

Mines all of the above but with bumpy astro and different types of astro so it is and off road track not just flat astro with a few jumps.

Astro track is undulating with gradients and "alpine" section

Hi
That's nothing, check out the mendip Rc raceway, we have all the above plus flood lights and a field for flying, beaches and a summer fair with a London eye wheel.

Only joking it looks a great site and well done.
