Your usual reminder to send your entries in.
Entries must be received by Midday on Wednesday June 3rd or you will be classed as a late entry and be in Heat one - no practice and increased Race Fees.

Is there likely to be a 4WD heat?

As ever, depends on interest, fill the online 2wd form in but write (4wd car) after your name in the name box... if there is 6-10 who wish to do 4wd (and who enter by midday on june 3rd!) there can be a heat put on, less than 6 and it won't happen I'm afraid. There will only be 1 heat of 4wd if there is one at all... I will be able to confirm if there is a 4wd heat by wed afternoon.

Tom,

On the above basis, I have just booked in myself, Richard Griffiths and Ben Greening via the website (Tom apologies forgot to add 4WD by my name but did the other two).

Dom,

Get yourself booked in and we are only a couple short, I will see if I can fill the spaces..

Done, but if it's as wet as last time I'm staying in bed!

There are 4 4WDs booked in as of last night, we need two more to get a heat. There must be a couple of people out there who'd like some more grass track practice?

You have to feel so sorry for the Ledbury crew. They are a club that works really hard to try and put on a good meeting yet the weather seems to hate them .....

http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/...=ledbury&day=5

Such a shame guys.

Don't be put off though as the track dries really quickly as those at the 4wd event will no doubt back up. (Thinks should really rebuild the FS after that meeting ... )

Agreed, so often have I arranged to go down to cornwall for a week and its been forcast a scorcher and ended up a thunder storm

Fingers crossed we should be ok, I will monitor the met office offical site through the week and update you all on saturday by looking out of the window !!

Any more 4WD interested in running, 4 so far need minimum of 6 for a heat and max of 10, just book in in the normal way but put 4WD next to your name.. and post on here if poss so we can see..

Anyone running 2WD not already booked in, you have until midday tommorow I believe so get yourself booked otherwise you will end up in heat 1 with no practice and £2 more to race..

Cheers All

See you sunday

Lee

Default 4WD HEAT AT LEDBURY SUNDAY

We now have 5 4wd entries for sunday, and have decided that due to their being a lower than normal entry number on the day, we will add a heat of 4wd cars despite there only being 5 entered (this won't necessarily be the case for other events though). This can of course change, there is another 5 4wd spaces available if you want to run your 4wd car sunday, but cut off is midday tomorrow. Enter using the 2wd form but put (4wd) after your name in the name box.

The 4wd heat currently consists of:

Mat Dodd
Lee Panchbaya
Callum Hodges
Richard Griffiths
Ben Greening

Please note though, that it would be useful if you guys could help us get together some volunteer marshals after your heat on sunday as there will be some vacant points and note that if there ends up being only 2 or 3 of you showing up we may have to disgard it- sorry, but we cant justify a heat with just 2 or 3 of you, we may however be able to incorporate you into a low 2wd heat with your 4wd cars and keep finals seperate but this will be determined on the day. Weather forecast is poor as stated, but if you could confirm if you are cancelling in advance it would really help, don't just fail to show please.

I'm definately there come rain or shine! I know Ledbury put on a good days racing so should be fun regardless of the weather!

We have tried to promote this weeks regional at Ledbury to as many 2wd drivers at our club (Hinckley) but will put the word out to see if any 4wd guys are interested too.

See you all there, Jon!
