Hey Neil,
The usual suspects: Wishbones, hubs, towers, shock shafts, wing mounts, spur gears. Give us a week or two and we'll let you know just what we break, it looks to be strong and initially I believe it'll take a hard crash to break it - but until I run it, that is only a presumption.

Smile Manual

I second that!! I think they will publish the manual electronically in the next few days. But a hyperlink or scan would be welcome

Hey Chris,

The more I focus on SX's pics the more my mind becomes twisted. I think I'm close to be addicted to

Will you accept me as a team mate again, discussing upon the same car

Cheers

Olivier

Hi guys!

Chris, you told me that the hexes for Losi Frt wheels were included in the SX kit...but I can find it as option on Schumacher website (Speed Secrets for SX, part number U3381)

Can you confirm ? (so I can put the hexes in my order right now)

Some other questions unsorted :

- what pistons come with the kit : 2 or 3 holes?
- what is the use of the kwik clips? (U2251)
- are the spings new or same as the "old" Schumacher ones?

Thanks for your help.
JC

I am answering this from work, so I don't have the manual to go and look at until I get home - will do my best.

Hexes: They do come with the kit, you don't need to buy them separately.

Pistons, 1 pair of 2 hole, 1 pair of 3 hole. Now you ask, perhaps I need to order a selection.

The U2251 quick clip, thats for the adjustment of wheelbase - done on the inboard rear hingepin.

Not sure on springs, I have no old ones to compare the new ones with. Perhaps Mike Williams, Mossy or Matt White can answer this - id only be guessing.

Hey Olivier, No worries atall, hope you do choose an SX - it is an amazing car!!!

It is a tough car to break. I havent broken a great deal since early testing to be honest. As Chris says, usual parts really. Would perhaps get some spare top half plastic gear box parts just in case, but would recommend upgrading to the alloy housing tops.

The springs are new. I have started to run these more recently but the older schumacher ones work perfectly.

Just out of curiosity, what are the setups in the manual?

Si

I've heard that they will be doing a service pack for the SX with wishbones etc does anybody know what will be in it and the cost ?

Reports of £90 but you will get a lot in the pack

Firstly, glad that there is a lot of interest in the CAT. I hope Schumacher do well from it. Secondly, I will try my absolute best to make a good review. However, I'm no-where near as good as Jimmy, no-one is. So don't expect an oOple quality review.

Here is my progress so far today (only just started again, went to go play with and babysit my Nephew this morning). Got the shocks done, and I'm just fitting the radio gear now in-between typing this:

I have a serious concern about fitting Trackpower LiPo in here. Looks like I have something bad to put in my review. Serious oversight on Schumacher's part, Trackpower is the market leader I think here in the UK so it's madness that it won't go without causing issue
