have they lengthend the wheel base aswell as it look longer than a "normal" elise

it'll be built here in the UK at a production facility at Silverstone, which will convert the Lotus chassis, lengthening it and beefing it up to transform it from a 200hp lightweight into a 1,000hp-plus Veyron chaser with engines shipped from Texas.

Yeah the whole back end is new to fit the massive engine in there.

My question is why put a heavy big block in there?!??!?!


That's like putting an electric scooter motor in an rc car... Sure, it might go fast in a straight line but it won't corner.

America's a big market, they love to buy big-blocks, and they don't have many corners... I wouldn't call the 8.0 litre W16 engine in the Veyron small either!

even with the myriad drivers aids required to get it to a reasonable standard, it'll still be an over-powered ill handling barge.
