What would be the best brused motor and speed controller is best for my mardave

If you need the motor and the ESC I would think carefully about getting a Hobbywing EZ-Run system. Although it is brushless it is still cheaper than any half decent brushed setup. If you have to go for brushed, any cheap ESC will do and the HPI Saturn 20T motor is quick enough and durable with the internal fan it has. Mine went well with that.

Nice options have been suggested to you and you can go for 17-19t spec motor IMO too for good results.

im going to be using a new motor in the next few weeks so i will see how it goes

its a mabuchi rs-540 motor sport tuned

Those are quite a bit faster than the silver can 540 motors and a good match for the Mardave. Not expensive either so you should be pretty happy with the performance.
