Default Yellow mini pins - do you even need to glue them??

slightly daft question, I realise ... I expect the answer is "Yes, fool".

But just thought they seem so rigid on the rims. Maybe just a few drops?

It's all personal preference, gluing.

I fit it to the rim, peel one side and drop a little thin CA in, it'll run around most of the rim. Peel the other side and repeat if you can. Once the rim's glued on I also run a bead around the joint between the tyre and wheel, it'll seal it all and make sure it won't come off...

I never glued the my Mini-Pins on my 1/16th LWB LRP Shark tonight and they last 25 mins of racing. One did come off fully at the end of the night BUT the car was on the roof and I was reving the bollocks off it, tyre flew in the air about 20 foot!

I would glue them, had just ran out of glue for tonight

You should know better than asking daft questions like that mr G. If you dont glue em you will be riding round york like a joyrider thats just been stung by the coppers.

If you're mounting them on a car you bought at RadioShack, that can't get out of it's own way - no problem.
If you're mounting them on a REAL rc car, I suppose you could enjoy watching them spin off the rims when the car reaches top end.
