Default KF ball diff

Will part number U3856 fit and work in a KF?

No, that's the diff for the SX3 car, you need the diff from a K1 which is U4199

Yes. Needs diff shims. Few people in my region run the old sx3 ball diff

Hello mate, do you have this diff, if not I think that's the diff that was in my K1 when I bought it. You are welcome to try it, it may need a service. If it's anygood good you can have it, I don't want anything for it.

Hi Ross, I saw one advertised on eBay and just wondered if it would fit. I didn't want to bid for it without knowing if it would work.

Ive got a one meeting old ball diff if anyone wants it.
Also a set of v2 rear housings aswell as all the other alloy bits available.

All as new

You can modify/update a SX3 diff to fit the KF, you need the K1 ball diff pulley U4196.

Does the KF have a narrower pulley than a SX3?

The difference between the SX3 and K1 pulleys is the K1 is offset whilst the SX3 pulley has the belt in the centre of the diff.
