All that torn up ground and dirt would have made for nice photos

Donīt worry, from here to august will be many races in the track and in all those races the club will try diferent options looking to the Euro.

That donīt means that the track during the Euro will be 100% astroturf. The idea is to get a mix circuit but the club must try to look where is better use astro and where not.

PS. Jimmy, you will get great photos anyway

Don't the EFRA rules have a percentage of the track that is allowed to be artificial? I always thought it had to be something like 90% natural, i.e Grass/Dirt like they usually are?

At Italy last year I discussed this with PW, the rules have changed, can't say for sure what the rule is though

After some research I found out that;
The facts :-
Euro's Off-Road rules used to state that the MAXIMUM artificial surface is 80%. (Not 10% artificial).
This rule was changed in 2002 because it could preclude some good venues.
In fact it was the Tiverton track in 2002 that prompted the change, because sand mixed with horse sh-t was not considered NATURAL by some persons.
This is the rule change that I didn't know the wording, hope this helps.

Actualy Yes there was!!! hahahaha
Step pins were most peoples choice, but they only did a rear tyre, so we used to cut and shut!!!
Cut a few roes out of a rear tyre and glue them back together to fit the front!!!!
Horse poo is a special surface, I miss that track
