Where as our bad luck was consistant throughout the 24 hours

I had a good time though and Xfactory should be proud and the only parts that faltered were AE parts.
we had a good last 6 hours, we pulled time back on everyone but HPI.

I had a full punch last stint and loved every minute of it

1 LRP speedo, 1 LRP motor and a few LRP LiPo's and you can run 24hrs 'full punch' (as in Tom Cockerill full punch!)

Ino-Lab servo went the distance without any fault too - it was working hard too catching all those 2WD slides and flicks

No bangs or pops from the red stuff.

After 24 Hours
Speedo: 43.7 C
Motor: 60C

Underarm temp: Much hugher than both!

am lot of magic smoke escaped from one corner towards the end and even toms frantic polishing couldnt cool it down our team thought we had major probs when the tekin shorted out on the prop and lots of magic smoke escaped from the little black box mid way through the random check of the car but much to our suprise it didnt falter at all and ran for the rest of the 24 hour without a hitch. was a great display of tekin strenth in both motor and speedo as neither faltered even when heavily abused and also for track power who helped our cause with 4 packs of 4900 stick lipos. these again were abused for the full 24 hours without even a cough and combined with the tekin speedo, motor and the pred x11-08 ran for at least 22 mins even under the heaviest of drivers and had a best run of 35 mins in slightly smoother hands.

id like to take this oportunity to thank Lewis at Xtreme for the x11-08 and the tekin motor and speedo, Mac at trackpower and Mark at mb modeltech for arranging the lipos and custom blitz for there help as without them we wouldnt of been able to take part

I think it goes to show how good the electronics are that we can buy off the shelf nowadays.

May i also add that We at Xfactory/LRP (in joke) were not using a top end speed control either, we used the LRP SPX Bullet Reverse speedo. It ran faultless

in my first stint it was definatly me lmao as i wragged the hell out of it in a wraggy style (just keeping it in one piece as well ). second stint i averaged 25-28 mins for the for all 3 packs and still managed to match the earlier lap times. untill they announced the computer probs i thought we had a chance of catching xfac/lrp as we had a good line up of drivers in the next few stints and the computer broadcast showed me 42 laps to catch them which was just about doable in the time that we had. then i looked at race control and it was 112 after my stint so i new we couldnt catch them but we were 300+ laps up on 6th so told the team to just keep rolling round and hope someone had a major prob ahead of us. none had one that brought them close enough for us to nibble at so we were 5th

good guess only 3 laps out

all a bit of fun though it was not meant to offend anyone

in the spirit of things the winnings will be donated to a local animal rehoming centre
