Default Grass racing Sunday

At what point will we know if the grass track is defo going ahead or not with the weather predicted looks unpredictable, as I want to do some grass practice for the regional ahead and not too fussed about indoor

At the moment the weather for Sunday looks reasonable. If it turns out to be too bad to race outdoors we will set up indoors, but this is an option we' want to avoid. It's a decision we'll have to take on the Sunday morning.

The good news is that the field at Birkdale High is well drained and unless we get torrential rain it should be OK.

All forecasts show Sunday to be relatively dry to totally dry.

I've just been to the school and even though we had heavy rain overnight the field is rock solid.

100% GUARANTEED GRASS RACING AT BIRKDALE TOMORROW.

This is your last chance to tune up for grass racing at South Lakes next week.

Gates will be open from 08:30. A selection of drinks and snacks will be available. See www.srcc.co.uk for directions etc.

8:30 Tony? Does that mean we are starting earlier tomorrow or will it be around an 11am start as usual?
