Just the standard 2.5mm chassis.
Try this set up

2mm soft weave would give you too much flex which could lead to too much grip. You could try it but use a 2.5mm top deck instead of the kit 2mm one.

We were running softweave (type) chassis toward the end of last winter at Ardent.

The chassis I ran was a prototype 2mm softweave (slightly different weave - so not identical to production) and I think Chris G was running the production 2mm softweave.

Not as I recall - can't be 100% sure, as I haven't kept any setup sheets!! I did run the 2.5mm std chassis at the start of the winter, but had gone on to soft weave by the end.

We are due to go indoors and get the carpet rolled out again at the end of next month. It's interesting to read that you and Chris were using the softweave. May give it a try.

My intention will be to start indoor carpet running with a 2mm soft chassis.
