I'll let you know by tonight, I'll give Nori a bell at some point today and see what he says. By the looks of things it may have to be cancelled. Unless we do some endurance stuff if it's still on. Eg teams of 3s, and see which teams win!!!

Default Yes racing is on tomorrow evening Fri 20th June 14.

Yes racing is on tomorrow evening Fri 20th June 14.

Those of you who have registered an interest must turn up as numbers are low for this week. I will be there for approx 6:15 and will need assistance with track building.

As numbers are low we will all be in 2wd heats. Thanks

It was close racing with Jim & Karam after a restart.
Trevor had a drive shaft pop out.

Everyone :-) Good fun evening of racing toy cars without too many uber serious competive moments that can ruin the fun aspect.

;-)

Probably not really - I think in the heat of the moment at busier meetings there have been some carried away moments, which when there's a younger racer on the other end of the more verbal instructions they can receive, spoils their evening.

Having been that younger racer a good time ago, it still rankles that a superstar grown up racer all those years ago thought it was okay to shout and scream at us younger racers 'cos we hadn't marshalled his car before he'd even started crashing it, never mind finally come to a rest, or had us chasing the damn thing all over the place as he attempted a full throttle escape from the bowling lane marker forest he's created for himself.

Maybe I'm too sensitive ;-)

Mind you, I'm still incandesant about that Potter bloke - calling a restart after blaming Nori for a baulk when my 25yr old car was running a close third, and then taking me out of the lead at the restart . . .

And yes Brian! It is young Potter here! Trevor did have a point tho. Nori was in the way. Sorry nori, we have all done it at some point goldfish nights racing, apart from grip and track, even tho people said it was one of my designs. No it wasn't. My idea was thrown in the bin and kasar and karam took over with the track. But altogether, a good meeting.

Oh and Brian, I'll Marshall you slow next time, just to here you scream and shout!!!
