Entries are invited for a series of 4 1/12th Scale open meetings during the summer on the following dates:
Sunday 23rd May
Sunday 20th June
Sunday 18th July
Sunday 5th September.
Venue :- Sharley Park Leisure Centre, Market Street, Clay Cross, Derbyshire S45 9LX
Entry Fee £8.00 per meeting. Payment will be taken on the day.
Doors open 8:00am. First heat on the line 9:00am.
Meetings will be a minimum of 4 rounds and a single leg final.
Mains power will be available for charging and also a limited number of tables and chairs. Please bring a table and chair if you have them.
Your best three out of four results will count towards the final series results.
Entry is online only. You can enter by clicking on the link above and filling in the form.
Action Model Centre will be running a shop at every meeting.

Event Rules

We will be running to our club 12th scale rules as below:
"Cars will run to the current BRCA rules and to an open format. The body shell rule can be disregarded."


As we do not know exactly what the BRCA rules will be we will be allowing the following:

• 13.5, 10.5 and lower turn brushless motors.
• 19 and lower turn brushed motors.
• NiMh or 1S LiPo cells.
• Any additive legal for the 2009-10 season.

If any of these change for any reason the changes will be announced on this web site and on RCRaceChat.
If you wish you can specify the type of motor you will be using for the meetings on the entry form. This will be used by the race director for the organisation of heats only.
All cars must also run with a rollover mast. The mast end must be at least 150mm from the ground and be capped with a safe blunt end.
