Default Esc motor recomendations

I'm looking at taking part in some vintage racing now I've nearly completed rebuilding a few cat 2000 s. Can anyone recommend a motor esc combo that's pretty easy to use

I've been running a Novak Fusion/Demon quad wind (forget what turn?) in my 2wd Meteor without any problems! (kiss of death) And have a minty Tekin 700 Pro Pulse residing in a pan car, which has had a few different motors thrown at it without fault. I'd say if your going racing? Stick with modern electrics. Will be better in the long run! Bashing/shelfers, go with the vintage

Yeh think you might be right going with the modern electrics idea. What would be a good easy to set up system that's going to be decent for racing?

Default for vintage racing

Hobbyking esc and 10.5 motor.

Trackstar Brushless Turbo 120A ESC V2 - approx £60

https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbykin...ensorless.html

- approx 25

And motor

https://hobbyking.com/en_us/tracksta...-approved.html

£30

Lipos from Hobbyking good as well. Nanotech shorties.

Good luck.

i use these myself in a range of vintages I race. So can vouch for them.
