Default Alternative meeting idea's\formats

Just an idle thought.
How about an alternative to the normal race format.
Inter club anyone? Or what other idea's have you?

Tried to do an interclub but no takers Guess they are all scared!

I've been toying with the idea of a rolling start to heat races ala usa and also finals grids side by side......

How about a mini endurance race?
Teams of 3 or 4 drivers.

1 person of each team must be marshalling at all times!
1 or 2 in pits charging
1 racing

Something like that anyway.

I like the mini endurance race idea... Might take a bit of organising but worth it.. We could 'easily' do a 3h race if not a 4h one.. Different classes for mixed teams of 4wd/2wd or 4wd or 2wd. Teams of 4, all preregistered, (Im sure Ive seen other threads on oople saying this can be done in the bbk software), and all laps get counted for the team. In that 3/4h each driver must drive at least one or 2 stints (stops just putting the fast boys on all the time!). Say a batt lasts 15-20min so a stint should be at least 10mins and one team must always have a marshal out or deducted a lap for each minute that the marshal point isnt covered...

Say we have 8 marshal points, 8 teams of 4 =32 which is betting on for our turnouts of late... What do others think?

(and yes, I am bored sitting here with my arm in a sling, not being able to do anything!)
