They get decided at the N/E consortium meeting usually held sometime in Jan or beginning of Feb..

Default Regionals for all abilities

Really looking forward to this year's regionals now.
Hope we're going to get a good attendance for this series.
I know a few people who have just started in this hobby, maybe put off from entering these events, but they really are a great weekend of racing for all abilities.
Great racing in the sun (fingers crossed) on great open tracks make it an ideal opportunity to get your buggy running whatever your ability.

Throw in a couple of great camping opportunities, and its smile all round

And remember, weight your 2wd up if you dont have a 4wd, and run in both classes!

Think having the dates confirmed would make more people consider....

think it would be good to have another event up at stannigton that was a good race day

also if we could do RHR Dirt it would be immense and would add a bit more spice to the event.

but I agree with Chris P
the regionals are a great chance to get some outdoor racing done and have some good fun on some different surfaces.
would also so it was a chance to get a big group of racers together but with the fantastic attendance and support that we have been having at seaham lately thats a bit of a moot point

Both classes on one days appealing too, can't commit to all weekend plus overnight accommodation.

Would like to do all regionals but cannot be sure unless the dates are available.

Confirmed dates..

June 15th-16th Dynamix (Gateshead)
June 29th-30th Bents Park (South Shields)
July 13th-14th Batley
July 20th-21st Teeside
August 3rd-4th Robin Hood Raceway

We will probably run 2wd on the Saturday at the first round then alternate from there! This will be confirmed soon!

Default Good to get regional dates

It's good to get regional dates; however they seem to be really squashed together this year.
We seem to have 5 meets within 8 weeks and 2 meets are the weekend following.

I know it's not ideal but some clubs are restricted by dates they can get venues and others have commitments to other events. Also to avoid clashing with nationals is another thing to consider.
I hope it doesn't affect the number of drivers attending the series after a well supported series last year! Our club has seen rising numbers recently so I am hoping for a good few new drivers at the regionals this year! Lets hope so anyway..

I take it that if they are over two seperate days i would be able to do one day? Would like to do this series but not sure i can come down for two days every round.
