Yz2 or b6 for newbie
My nephews getting on great with touring car so thought I would prep for some outdoor off-road stuff/try him with a buggy. My choice will purely be down to car robustness rather than speed and handling. So out the two in the title which one would stand up to a few more knocks

durability
As most will agree the yokomo is more robust than the b6, the parts wear rate on the yokomo is better than the b6, I found the b6 easier to drive but once you have the yokomo set up it really is a great bit of kit straight out of the box.

I'd vote yokomo, because I think the YZ2 is awesome. I have 3 of them
But actually, if I were you I'd get down to your local club & have a look to see what's more popular between the two. I'm thinking it'd be easier to get hold of spares if you go with the crowd. On the other hand, I went nuts buying new spares when I bought my DTM last Christmas and I haven't even broken a wishbone. The only thing I've done is added a few 0.5mm shims to the rear inner hingepins to remove a bit of slop. The thing is built like a tank. |
