Good point on the BRCA licence ... I sent mine renewal off before Xmas (via the website) and still have not had the licence! Time to follow that up I think.

In terms of your BRCA Card, we had a Micro National on the 9th January and as Entries Officer I advised all entrants to e-mail Jacqui (not sure of the e-mail address). Jacqui was happy to respond to all emails to confirm that they were members and where and when and if the card was dispatched.

We were happy to accept the e-mail as proof of membership. I'm not sure if the 1/10th Section have an automatic process of checking your numbers on your forms with Jacqui or not? Something I'm looking at for the Micro Section

Hope this helps

Andy

How unlikely is it that i could get a entry this weekend? I think I've renewed by license via the online thing (not sure as im waiting for a reply) and i dont have an entry for the meeting itself. I was thinking about doing 2wd only.

Who should I be getting in touch with to ask?

Thanks

Danny

Dave, is there any chance you could leave a bottle of glue with someone who might be racing tomorrow at Caldicot??

Your bro maybe?

Just to make sure...the meeting has been officially moved to a new venue in the last two weeks.
It is now at Hereford Leisure Centre, Holmer road, Hereford HR4 9UD.

It is now 13 miles difference from the old venue, which is at Leominster.

Thanks,
Mark

Marc

Ive had a few people asking me if they can setup tables etc at the venue on the friday night.
I was not sure so thought i would ask. I would probably have thought it would be ok.

Let us know Cheers Nathan

I bet if those people are willing to stop and help build the track they could put their tables anywhere they liked lol

Oh YES...many hands make light work
Well..we will be there from 9.30pm as that is when the hall at Hereford is free to set the track up. I don't really see any reason as to why someone could not set their table up, but I can't recommend leaving any other stuff in the venue, as we cannot be held responsible for any theft etc..

Thanks
Mark

Hi Danny.
For about 4.30 hrs you held the unofficial title of the latest person to book in to a National BRCA event. I cant quite believe it myself but a chap just emailed and asked for a place for Sunday - which is actually after all the travelling officials have left to attend the meeting!!!!
I am now looking into booking in by THOUGHT TRANSFER.
Regards
Charlie

Danny took 2WD with wins in A1 and A3.
Yardy took TQ and A2 victory.

Interesting qualifying after the "shock oil all over slippy section" incident as well

Roll on tomorrow
