GOOD NEWS GUY'S

I am now taking orders for the cat 2mm track brace please pm your details for postage etc and i will forward PAYPAL details

Here's the first one fitted to my car.

This is with bumper fitted, you do have to take a bit off the bumper but with a bit more fettling it will fit better.

This was a quick fit but with a bit more care you could make it neater.
Looking forward to hearing from all interested parties.
Regards steve brew....

I saw Steve's brace at the weekend and it looks really smart, simple yet effective and really good quality

Thanks Lee For those of you that receive your braces today !!!! REMEMBER !!!! for best results use new inner hingepins and blocks. You may get away with your old ones, but mine were bent well out of shape We have also made them so the thread of the hingepin cuts the brace hole The hingepins should be tight enough that you will not need the rear lock nut and washer, which also has the added benefit of not destroying your chassis and not binding up the suspension.
Hope everyone likes this product and good luck
Regards steve brew.

Got the braces on both my cars now, excellent work Steve.

When fitting, note to all: Loosen the M3 screws into the gearbox sides, and tighten them once the brace is on tightly... just makes things easier and line up with less chance of stress if anything is going to be stressed at all.

The other thing, the bumper mod is easy, just use a cutting disk on a dremel and take out a section immediately above the holes in the bumper exactly like Steve has done. I did mine really close to the screw holes as it needs to be, if not close enough then the bumper holes don't line up to the gearbox holes.

Oh, and I did try my first bumper mod with the small sanding drum, and it doesn't work. I shouldn't be so lazy and found the cutting disk. By using the drum I also reduced the depth of the screw holes in the bumper a little and although it'll be okay, its not as good as using a cutting disk and leaving the depth of the holes alone.

Good work Steve, fitting time about 5minutes once I stopped being lazy and used the cutting disk on the dremel.

Ran both my cars today, and gave them both plenty of abuse - the front screws and alloy blocks are as new...

I had to go find a shock in one qualifier, and in the final I crashed at the start quite hard, one corner was 6ft up in the bush at the end of the straight at Bury.... still all is good apart from wishbone, the hinge pin screw bent upwards only, so all it needs is hinge pin and wishbone.

Good work Steve... highly recommend this item
