Not saying that it definitely won't come in but with the F2's now less than a week away, I believe you will need to be prepping your car to run the ball diff.

In all honesty, no availability date can be guaranteed until the part is in stock which, when I checked last Friday, it was not.
I wouldn't expect to see the diff until at least the 22RTR is in the shops so I would use that as the initial indicator.

Sorry if this disappoints - but at least you still have 5 days to prep your car accordingly for the event next weekend.

See you there :-)

You could always run the AE gear diff out of an SC10, B4.1 or T4.1. I just set my new car up this way and will be trying it out this Wednesday. I think it will need to be worn in before it starts running good though as the tranny is a bit stiff (its 1 extra tooth), but running it in for a while with a drill helped, I think a race night should loosen it up. I never put any shims in for side to side play in the mid motor trans but some say its needed.

Ok first of all you don't have to ram it in there, it's only 1 tooth more than stock mine fit's perf. and loving my AE sc10 gear diff. So don't worry and buy one already, you will never go back I tell you...
Yo will also need som 10x12x0.2 shims 4 on each side of the diff for countering play...

I'm fed up with waiting for the losi unit which is now 3 months 'late' so have ordered a SC10 diff. What weight diff oil are you guys running?

Hi guys, so if we were to use the SC10 gear diff we should get all this 3 items to run in the 22?

1. SC10 diff gear & cover

2. SC10 gear diff rebuild kit

3. SC10 gear diff outdrive

Jay you could do with some diff grease in there but without running it yet i can't recommend anything as yet, although i would imagine something fairly thin is best so leass than 5000wt

Cheers
