Have you heat shrunk the motor cables? They look better black.
I've got the 4000kv, what have you got?

Ive got the 4600kv, ive changed all the cables to black, one of the stock wires snapped, so while i had the can open i resoldered them all

Oh cool, it's a kind of solder post then? Need a good iron I'd imagine as they are thick wires.
Good motors but I hear stories of them running nice and cool and mine gets hot, I do run it for a while, full packs, but never has it felt cool or warm, always HOT! I've tried different gearing.

Have you checked the temps with a proper temp gun??? I run her yesterday afternoon on a Astro track geared 14-40 and even after 10mins of hard running she only hit 50oC, they are awesome motors, i cant recommend them enough

heres mine 1st up is the losi 5t with mods so far , lights suspension upgrade ,uber exhaust twin servos


2nd up is my traxxis slash 4x4
