Default X6 Anti-Squat shims

X-Factory X6 / Rear Hinge Pin Anti-Squat

1 piece shims in Carbon Fibre

Had some made up and been running them for over year now with out a problem.

Just back out the 2 lower chassis screws, undo the 2 screws that hold the toe-in block in place and slip in or remove a new shim to adjust the anti-squat. Kit will include a shim to replace the washers under the screws that hold the toe-in blocks in place. (when using the thickest shim the washers get in the way)

UK £10.50 shipped
USA $23.50 shipped
Europe €17.50 shipped

5 shims for anti-squat adjustment & 1 shim to replace washers used on toe-in bar (not shown)

0 deg = .150" or 3.81mm 0 deg = 3.8mm spacer or (2.3mm +1.5mm)
1 deg = .120" or 3.048mm 1 deg = 3mm spacer
2 deg = .090" or 2.286mm 2 deg = 2.3mm spacer
3 deg = .060" or 1.524mm 3 deg = 1.5mm spacer
4 deg = .030" or 0.76mm 4 deg = 1mm spacer
5 deg = no shims

working on getting 0.75mm carbon to get as close to 4 deg as possible

Yes I like this a lot... Will you be at the indoor finals???

I think Glenn Atterton was trying to make something along these lines, is this Glen? or part of the same thing.

not as yet, but then the kit washers don't come marked up either

Thought about having small holes drilled in each but would put up costs due to machine time. Will see about getting it priced though. Could included a drawing like you see for turnbuckle lengths in some instruction manuals only this would be for thickness

Glenn,

I think these are an ace idea, I'll most likely be giving you a shout in the not to distant future. Marking the peices is a very good idea though if possible!

it's possible but,

price for parts with ID holes would need to retail @ £9.25 trackside or £10.00 posted (this is all due to extra machine time)

It's possile to have another batch made up today @ a push with or without holes if I phone in the order before 12:00. Next slot I have for machining will be middle of next week.

how would you like them?

Hi Glenn,
Id like them with the markings please, and I'll have two sets. Let us know if/when and we'll sort out payment.

I'll ask for mine posted, doubt I can make it to TRCC now til the next winter season.

Chriss
