Default Saddle pack in a D4

I have the D4 sitting on the shelf almost ready to go, just need tyres and a steering bearing after the original went walkies somewhere..

Im not really wanting to get my cells redone to fit so want to go trakpower lipo but haven't seen a photo of one fitted but also want to know the best way to go abouts securing it in the car, this seems good but B44 only

It wouldn't surprise me if that fitted the D4 too. They are very similar cars.

?? Anyone got both cars, or had both cars and can compare the holes etc on the chassis?

the trak power saddles wont fit the d4 unless the top deck is raised, apparently by 1 mm or so.

im guessing a few washers would do the trick

Is that with the plastic cell trays removed?
I assume it is.

Is it poss to 'shave some off of the rear topdeck to make them fit?

If you only have one pack try servo tape and turn the straps around, should stop the side to side movement.

Default d4 lipo

A friend of mine here in the US runs lipos in his D4 and he just grinds the cell grooves off the bottom of the straps. Here is a pic of his car.
