Was thinking of coming down for this, would I be OK to run the ZX-5 with Hobbywing Electrics and Turnigy batteries?

Hi

Yes, as long as the batteries are hardcase, then all ok. It is only at regionals and other BRCA sanctioned events like the EOS F2/Vets/Juniors in Sept that the batteries need to be on the BRCA list.

We are running control tyres though - either Schumacher or Ballastic mini-spikes in any compound on rear axle. Can see why anyone would want to run anything else anyway!!

Hope to see you there.

Rob

So looking forward to this meeting, seems ages since we've had a super sunny relaxed all day meeting at Torch.
Sign me up for both classes as usual, hope my partner in crime is joining me?

How else is up for some summer fun this weekend?

Cheers,
James.

Evening all

I'm looking forward to getting some racing in at torch this Sunday after being at so many regionals and nationals, will be good to get some torch action.

Weather is looking favourable and we can look forward to seeing Grant Fribbens usual shorts to blind us all

With some more track work Saturday improving facilities and making the venue better bit by bit

Usual meeting with top 3 prizes for all finals and trophies for top 2 in juniors, hopefully see some more youngsters come this Sunday with the build up to the F2's, vets and juniors in August/September.

I see there is a bit of interest in trucks this Sunday, so if your interested and we can get 6+ attending we will run a heat.

Looking forward to seeing you all

Post if your coming :-)

Shall be there and really enjoying getting back into racing after what seemed like ages away. Lets hope the weather stays with us so we can enjoy some really good relaxed racing.

Do I take it that there will be food/burger van available?

Now the dust has settled a bit and subject to getting enough time to prep before the weekend (and find everything amongst the chaos) I should be there. It's been so long can't remember which way to hold the transmitter

Currently looking like 20 degrees and sunny all day

Normal TORCH Summer Series format of as much racing as we can get into the day so hopefully 4 qualifying rounds plus 3 finals for all

No excuses, tell your family you have to work and come racing. You'll only regret it otherwise

Rob

Hadn't realised ot was this weekend Mr Barker but I will try and get a pass out tonight.

Hmm 2 AND 4WD might be tempted to take on the craziness in Grant's absence.

I shall be there (thanks this weekend to Richard Roberts chauffeuring services). 2wd with the Cougar I think, could be tempted to patch up the Lazer and double class it, but really I'm getting to old for that kind of madness.

Should be a cracker anyways round, especially with the track being in the best form ever at the moment. Bring it on!
