Holy Cow, i've just seen how expensive the spring sets are!! are there any alternatives? If not, what would be a couple of different pairs recommended by peeps for use outdoors so i can just buy a few pairs?

you could buy the pairs you need rather than the whole set?
£3.56 for a pair isn't too bad if you did buy the whole set though |

i have done, i just wanted to get some ideas on here as to what people run as a lot of the set up sheets are for indoors.

I would say dark reds are the most popular for the fronts indoors im sure some other guys will tell you what they use. But i mainly use the dark red fronts and either green or black rears depending two or four wheel drive, track conditions etc.

that's mostly related to the time the V3 came out and the winter indoor races start I believe. Some of the 2010 spec DEX410 cars will have been using big bores for the outdoor season though.

I thought the prices for the sets are pretty good?

individual they're not bad but a set of rears is 30 quid and a set of fronts is 30 quid (ish), unless im reading it wrong?? which i think is steep if i'm only likely to use a couple of the different pairs front and rear.

as a kit they generally save you the price of a set... so you get one set free over buying individually.
I think thats prety good. Although i very much doubt you will ever need more then 2/3. The fronts also come in a HARD set too, which is another £30. It seems to be springs from the hard range that most people are using on the front of the car now.
