Last night's racing saw what's become a fairly usual attendance of only 5 racers.

This is less than half the number we regularly had a year or so ago and at £5 per head, we are not even covering half the cost of hiring the hall for the evening. None of us can make it down every week, but we need to raise the average attendance - in short, we need more members.

It was therefore suggested that any current members, ocassional attendees, or anyone else who has an interest in the continuance of the club, come down to next week's meet (Wednesday September 30) where, as well as racing, we will set aside half an hour to discuss the matter.

For those who haven't been for a while and would like to attend, we meet in the upstairs gym hall of Hadley Learning Community, TF1 5NU. Track setup is from 7.30pm, with racing from 8pm.
