I've had to re-make the connections to the sensor board on one. You'll need a very steady hand and be quite competent at soldering! Also a good iron will without doubt help.
It was a while back now, but I seem to remember you have to remove the black plastic back plate, followed by de-soldering the stator windings from the board with the solder tabs on, then you can remove the sensor board from the underside and start the re-wiring! Take note of all wire colours and positions. I'm pretty good at things like this, but the bit that really frustrated me was trying to get that little ruber sleeve grommet to sit properly. You should be fine using any sensor harness, you may need to cut one of the removable ones up. If you do, i'd look for one of the long Novak ones with the coloured wires (The colours will help!). If you use a long one and cut it in half, it may just make two for the price of one! I might have posted this as reply previously when it was fresher in my mind, so have a search, or if I find anything I'll re-post it. Good luck. |

Or the easier option that i did once is to cut the exsisting wire down and just solder a new lead on to each small wire making sure there all the right way around. It shows you the colours and the order in the manual for the motor.
