Maybe i should put something above the stick so i cant push it so far. Also if you where refering to the final wher ei kept messing it up at the bottom of the straight i think thats as i had brand new tyres on and i was used to the old ones i had on whichhad no grip so it didnt grip role or flip off the track.

Phil Cheers for setting the xx4 for me well when you built it the last time. Would you like it back to get ready for the final mid west round i think my round 4 time was the 2nd quickest of the meeting if not then definatly top 4 which wasn't bad for the first meeting with the car. Big well done to all the mid west lot.

PS Griff stop looking at the other cars on the track

Major respect to Stan, quality drive, may be a few upsets next year in the nationals. The first leg of the A was poetry in motion - not many people can lap everyone.

Well done to all the organisers and staff that helped at Coventry, the meeting ran extremely smoothly and i thought the Track held up really well, although the grass wore it didn't cut up at all and was still really nice to drive in the last leg!!

Also well done to Mark (Stan) - just couldn't live with you in all honesty, think we were close early on but after round 2 i just couldn't get the car to go any quicker round the track - even without crashing and driving as hard as it would let me you just drove away!

The track should have in theory got slower but you seemed to just get quicker with it which was very frustrating I tried all sorts but nothing seemed to make it any better, what can i say? Top job though mate, you drove faultless and thoroughly deserved to get one back on me (That makes it 1-1 now you realise)!

Will hope to do a few Nationals next year, so you never know we may end up having a few more races but i'll have to see if i can do any first.....

Well done for 4wd too, sounds like it was another dominating performance - Sorry i couldn't be there.

Hope to see you down at Lee's over the winter (CML Raceway) as he should hopefully be applying for a National!

Take it easy and well done to all again.

Nick.

Man did I watch a lot of laps this weekend! But I can't complain, I got to see some really good racing out there on what was a very consistent and high quality track.

Some very impressive performances... Stan obviously, put everyone to the sword, really impressive stuff mate especially in 2wd with that XXX thing. I have to say you proved me thoroughly wrong and humble pie is a dish I don't enjoy!

Andy Griffiths.... what a move in the 3rd leg of 2wd coming onto the main straight, on the last lap, ducked to the inside and held it round the sweeper, very cool... i had to bite my lip, as an impartial ref should not go shouting GO ON ANDY!

Andy Reeves... where oh where did that come from dude? round 4, 2nd! Sparklin'! dissapointed I never actually watched your run, sod's law that is. Very well done.

Thanks to the CMCC club, thanks Jamie and Nick for letting me and Tinners sit in your caravan on fri and sat evening, it was bloody freezing outside! Cheers team Mudfish for lending me cars to use in the guest race and providing me with entertainment whenever I came to visit the tent... although maybe I should be thanking Simpson's XX4 for providing that!

See you through the winter.

Chris told you it was going to be close but clean, to be fair mate I was just lucky in the final but I was determined not to wipe anyone out - couldn't pull away from top 3 and anyone of us could have made it. Racing at its best

Cheers Tom, Really don't know where that round came from. I wasn't sure if i had got the 14 or it was a 13 at the time. There was a couple of times that i nearly throw it away, mainly when i got it up on two wheels at the end of the straight not good for the heart. That was probally my only run since i have came back that i did not crash once and all the lap times were 22's and 23's I really don't think i could have gone any quicker.
