Default 2wd xray's in the wet

Ran my 2wd xb4 last night in the wet,tq'ed 3 of the 4 rounds against the mid motor cars now found how to make my car have great forward drive without losing any steering, was able to keep up with the 4wd in the wet / damp slippery conditions. This is my ce1 conversion I'm running with a standard xray ball diff fit witch I have had no problems running it.

Except for your conversion, what would you say has been the key to finding the right balance between traction and steering?

Would have to say running it with a shortly lipo and moving motor to opposite side help no end, plus lots of small changes to suspension geometry and leaning basic setup that works wet or dry

TBH the stock car is good in the wet even without a ball diff.

Long links on the rear, lighter oil, 5 deg rear toe, 1k in the diff and all the weights (corners and suspension holders) with silver does work, way better than my RB6 does.

Not the fastest car for that kind of grip for sure but one of the safest, I was happily surprised.
