Default Indoor 1/10 buggy racing midweek near Birmingham

Hi all.

I'm on a course all next week near Birmingham NEC and was wondering if there is any indoor 1/10 buggy racing during the week near Birmingham. Its either that or I spend all week servicing and rewiring in my hotel room - booo

Midlands Raceway in Cradley Heath run Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Permanent venue so just turn up and race, no need to put a track out as you can see. Happy days

Opening times are on their website in my signature

This is the current layout

Default Midlands Raceway

I'm loving the sound of Wednesday night at Midlands Raceway and the track looks great.

Looking at the website and regarding tyres and classes on a Wednesday...

Website says: "No Spiked or Pin tyres. Staggered fronts may be used. Slick tyres may be used"..... Am I correct in assuming foams are fine then or Shuey Venoms????

Also, what classes run on Wednesday nights? I have 1/10 2 and 4wd buggy (XRAY XB2 & XB4???? Is there any motor or ESC restrictions??

Assuming all of the above is ok and visitors are welcome, I will be there for sure.

Wednesday night 1/10th 2wd & 4wd are run and micros. The main tyre we use are Schumacher Venoms but foams are fine to use also. If you don't have a set of Venoms then there will be a set glued up available for you to use on the night

Visitors are always welcome, look forward to seeing you next Wednesday.

Nick
