Default Oswestry 4WD Regional

We are all looking forward to seeing you all this coming weekend. We will have the indoor pitting available if it rains... but I think most agree that pitting outside by the track provides a better atmosphere if the weather is good..?

See you Sunday
Neil

Usually the normal club track .... would be a bit cheeky to run on the grass this close to the national too

Morning all

Hope you all had fun at Oswetsry yesterday? We tried something completely different to normal with the track and I hope you guys liked it, we actually paced the track out before the meeting and the lap was longer than Kidderminster National the week before so it's fair to say we made use of the space!

Thanks to the rest of the Oz crew for a good job all day, thanks to Ask for building the big National jump into the track, it worked really well.

Apologies as well for the power cuts in the finals, it's never happened before and luckily it was up and running in no time!

Finally, congrats to Moss for the win and Andy Funge for another good A Final

Track was certainly interesting and a credit to the efforts of the club guys to fully use what space you have. You guys always work hard and that is why I've always liked going to your club even though it's more than a 200 mile round trip for me.

Not to my personal tastes, in fact my least favorite track layout I've raced on for a very long time. I must admit that my favourite part of the day was getting home however that was nothing to do with the club or the way the meeting was run which was faultless as always.

Hope you guys get those power gremlins sorted before the national, best of luck

power was a strange one since on club nights you have people charging in the hut and floodlights on lol

I had a great day and will certainly make the trip from Cheltenham to race on your track again, might bring some sun-tan lotion next time!

Cheers!

I was a bit intimidated by the track when I saw it first thing, I was expecting the straight at the back to be a nightmare and the infield looked like it would be stop/point/squirt section. I changed my mind about all of that after practice. It was great! Track flowed nicely, easy to get into a rhythm during qualifying and the big wooden table top was a real bonus.

Good meeting - big thanks to all the Oz crew who helped to make a fun day's racing.
