despite breaking my car again i had a great nights racing so thanks to sam for all the effort he and his boys put in to running the club. It is a shame that at the end of the night very few people stayed back to help put the track away, Nobody wants to put the track away because it is a rubbish job but the way i see it , no help no club. One person can only put so much effort into hobby when they have to work to pay the bills at home, sams sons were at the track at midnight still helping there dad pack up the track and they are under 10. i should imagine this is a problem that goes on around the country and is probably the reason why many small clubs close . If our local club was to close this would mean extra traveling time to another club , would half an hour helping tidy up hurt so much.
