not moaning but. what do we all get for our fiver?
don't know of any other club that charges for camping?
if the club has to pay for us to use the land or have to pay for extra facilities fair enough. bearing in mind they receive a good wedge for providing the facilities for the brca to run the meeting.
cheers andy

Sometimes it's not the club that charges it's the landlords.
After all finding a piece of ground to have a track on is hard enough now a days, if the landlord wants a fiver to let people camp that's fair enough I think.

Think you will find it is £5 for no matter how many days you stay..... so if you are there for 2 it is £2.50 a night... Hotels and petrol is much more expensive.
Not everyone charges for camping but some do, and as Dave says it is sometimes down to the landlords..

What you get for your £5.....

Bar - open till late
Food - serving early and late
Toilets AND showers....

In the info pack it says about camping in "tents, caravans, motor homes" ... I'll be showing up (if it makes it) in a ratty, rusty old transit van (just like the good old days of DC Racing but this one is grey) ... please let them know it's a racer not one of our beloved traveling friends

TBH £5 for decent toilet and washing facilities isn't bad at all, been to many a camp site charging more and offering less!

Normally timed practice before qualifying. No track time other than this so try to make it count!

So if you are way quicker or slower would you be moved for the heats?

There wasn't timed pratice at the nats or the F2's, so would say it's unlikely! Just Charlie with a stop watch by the rostrum!

Heat changes are normally just to cover drop outs, pt's, xtals, etc as far as I could tell.

any idea if it will be 2 practice rounds of about 3 mins each etc, or just one round of 5 mins?
Seem to remember only having one round the other year to cut down on time

Yeah thats what there will be, Charlie, and he will be only allowing a set time on the track, per Heat.

I would imagine it will depend on how much time we have etc, Im sure Mr Whyman will be able to confirm!!
