6" ruler. With the wheels off, line the ruler up with the kingpin tops across the line of the axle and then check each axle by eye. I usually do this with the electrics on so the servo is held at its centre position.

The eye is astonishingly accurate! It's easy to see if the axles are parallel to the ruler. It's also easy to add a smidge of toe, in or out, equally each side. HTH

Thanks for that , i didnt want to spend a fortune on a setup station when there is a straight forward simple way that people use.
Much appreciated.

If anybody else does things differently please share as you can always teach an old dog new tricks, and some people take to different methods, so please share.

I've been using the straight lines on my setup board but have found it a bit hit and miss, hence the reason for looking for other methods.

Thanks,
Shiny

Do you mean this one?

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...up_System.html

If so i bought one thinking the same thing, but the 1/12 scale hub bearings inserts are to small to take the GT12 stubs
Was gonna try pushing out the brg's reaming out the hole to take some GT12 front hub brg's.

Cheers'
Shiny.

just get some of the plastic supastox bushes for the front wheels and trim them down, worked perfect on the hudy set up station

Thanks for that.....I take it by that comment the hudy system has the same problem.

I didn't even give that a thought. Am off to get some supastox bushes . Did you push the brgs out the 1/12 adapters and fit the bushes, or did you adapt them into the 1/10th adapters?

Cheers,
Shiny

Easiest way is to measure the track width of the wheels' leading and trailing edge, if they're the same then 0 degrees, the rest is just math.

The track star one have two seperate inserts into the upright 1 has a larger brg pressed into it to take a 1/10th stub axle the other to take a 1/12th stub.

Was gonna try pressing out the brgs and reaming the holes out to take a wheel brg

Eyeball it! Parrallel is the norm on pan cars.

Static camber should be adjusted to get even wear across the width of the front tyres. -1.5deg will be somewhere close.

I have a hudy setup system... hasn't been out of its box for months!
