Whats the difference between TLR2947 and TLR2957
I have a 22 and 22 3.0, the diff thrust look identical in the instructions, but have 2 different numbers, any ideas if they are the same?

I use associated trusted race and diff screw. Plates seem harder and screw doesn't come lose or snap.

TLR2947 has Tungsten Carbide balls
TLR2957 is not specified, so (probably) steel balls Steel balls for a ball diff thrust bearing will not last you long, tungsten carbide will last you longer. Caged thrust bearings, like the ones from Avid RC. They have them with Tungsten Carbide like TLR, or even harder Silicon Nitride/Ceramic balls (link) which I usually choose. In my experience diffs stay smooth for so much longer with a good thrust bearing Last edited by Origineelreclamebord; 17-02-2018 at 09:30 AM. |
